Mckenzie politely offered his services at the markets at the port as we got off a ship at Port Vila. Five of us piled into his gorgeous pink van. We warmed to him immediately; a lovely man with a beautiful soul! We decided straight away that we wanted to enlist his services for the day. He is an excellent communicator and knows Port Vila like the back of his hand. The people of Port Vila are beautiful. Mckenzies friendly manner and his regular waves and hello’s as he travelled around has us thinking that he knew almost everyone in the city! He took us to Cascades Waterfalls and Tanna Coffee Factory. I felt so blessed that he knew of, and arranged for us to go in and see the chapel at the local hospital that was built in memory of my Principal’s daughter – Melanie Jewson Memorial Chapel. Our final stop on our ‘way too brief’ visit was the duty free shopping strip and markets. Mckenzie provided us with tips and advice throughout the trip and engaged readily in conversation with us all the way. His services are second-to-none and when we return we will certainly be contacting him again for another tour to all of the other amazing places at Port Vila. The half day was way too short!
